Brian is completing the installation of the baseboard trim in the upstairs
rotunda. Daniel is painting interior doors. |

Construction Day 429 June 26, 2006 Carpenter is here, again. Staircase handrail is up. Baseboard in the rotunda is going in and that is the toughest area for trim. |

More with the carpenter. Staircase stringer boards are in along with the baseboard trim up the stairs. |

We brought the carpenter back to install baseboard. Brian was fine doing it on his own, but this kinda speeds up the process a bit. Daniel is priming interior doors and painting window trim. |

Plumber start final trim-out. The plumbers are here to finish everything for the plumbing final inspection. Most importantly, the septic tank is connected and the city water is running. Now we can flush to hearts delight. |

In between over-lapping groups of company from out-of-town, we managed to find a day to lay some pipe and install the water line from the street to the house. We are having to run pipe inside pipe to meet code so that's 240' of pipe we laid, today. |

Construction Day 414 April 14, 2006
Seizing another opportunity to double our efforts, we have had to rent a trencher to dig a new water line from the street to the house. The previous line we ran before breaking ground has been buried too deep after we raised the elevations. We are putting in a few additional trenches for future uses, also. |

We are still painting trim and baseboard. Brian is also working on various smaller projects to keep everything moving forward. We have company for a week so we don't expect to get much completed. |
