Construction Day 90 April 25
|
Installation for the lightning rod system continues. We were given a partial pass on the plumbing inspection so the plumbers will have to return to make some additions. We have scheduled the shingle roof installation for next week. | ||

Construction Day 89 April 24
The A/C and plumbing work is on-going. The framers returned to work on areas the other trades need completed. The electric company has replace the rotting and leaning power pole with a new one and began running the electric for the new house.

The HVAC installation continues. The plumbers have returned. Also, the lightning rod company has begun installation. | ||

Construction Day 87 April 22
The HVAC installation continues. The plumbers are working on running the pipes and preparing tub set. The garage doors will be installed today, too. |

Construction Day 85 April 6

Not much progress as we are just cleaning up the site, grading, and constructing temporary doors to be able to lock up the house and keep the weather out. We are working out the installation of the skylights. At least, all the windows are installed and working very nicely. | ||

Construction Day 84 April 1 |
The framers are done with what they can do until the other trades are complete. We ordered the plumbing fixtures and they will arrive in a week. The skylights are to be delivered today. We got two more truckloads of fill dirt to continue with the grading. | ||

Construction Day 83 March 26
The trusses are on and the roof is dried-in. The framers are finishing up the rough framing and it should be completed today. We are scheduling in the HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lightning protection for their rough-in before the roof goes on.

Construction Day 82 March 25
Shit! The roof trusses are still wrong. I would never recommend or use Trussway, Inc. to make trusses, again. The crane is here removing the first set of wrong trusses and the framers are rushing to try and repair the second set of wrong trusses. |

The exterior sheathing wrap is going up. All the windows will be completely installed. |
