Day 210

January 15, 2004

 Damn but there is a lot of wall space to cover.  The second floor is primed and ready.  We have moved back downstairs and did get some more of that completed.

January 13, 2004

We are still applying the coat of drywall primer.  Brian is manning the paint sprayer and Daniel is back rolling the applied primer.

We are spraying primer in the bedrooms.

January 11, 2004

 Finally... we are finished with the primer cut-in and the masking is complete.  We can start the spraying and not have to stop until the interior primer coat is complete.

We assembled the new, purchased scaffolding so Dan can cut-in the primer at the 18' ceiling area.  Brian is masking off the doors and windows.

January 8, 2004
We are almost finished with the primer cut-ins for the house.  We are also returning the scaffolding that we have rented for almost a year now that we figured out it was cheaper to buy it new.

We are still working on the cutting in of the drywall primer.  We are up on the new scaffolding doing the 13' ceilings.

December 29

 

We held a Tom Sawyer party and found two suckers... er.... friends to come and help paint.  Julia and Paul helped with the prep and cutting in of the drywall primer so Brian can quickly spray through the rooms.

  

   

Brian started playing with his new toy that Santa brought for Christmas.  The paint sprayer really commits us to painting the entire interior ourselves.

December 18

The exterior painting is complete!

We are back to working on the cut-in priming for the interior walls.  We are also ordering the bathroom cabinets, countertops and wall tiles.

Exterior painting continues.  The focus is now on the trim and doors.
