Construction Day 370 October 30, 2005
We have completed installing the boards for the deck. |
The railing is still being designed so we will have to move on to other projects. That does not stop us from enjoying being out on the deck and enjoying this great space. |
Construction Day 369 October 23, 2005
We are moving along well with installing deck boards. |
Construction Day 368 October 19, 2005
We are installing more of the deck boards. |
Construction Day 367 October 18, 2005
Brian has completed the custom drainage panels for under a section of the deck. |
Construction Day 366 October 16, 2005
Brian is working on a custom project to add an area of drainage panels to control runoff under the deck and above the breakfast nook. |
Daniel is working on custom creating the round railing for around the hole in the floor below the oculus. |
Construction Day 365 October 15, 2005
We have finally completed adding the rail posts to the deck. Now we can get back to putting down deck boards. |
Construction Day 364 October 2, 2005 My how time flies. Seems like just last month we were working on this house. Now, that Brian has returned from Ireland, it looks like we can get back to work. We are drilling and mounting the rail posts for the deck. |
Construction Day 363 September 6, 2005
We are continuing to install the deck boards and have started preparing the rail posts. |
Construction Day 362 September 5, 2005 We are attempting to re-paint the front door, again. We also have the final hardware ready to install on the door, too. |
The best forward momentum today was Brian starting installing the deck boards on the second floor deck. |
Construction Day 361 September 1, 2005 Moved on to a small project that we thought we could bang out and complete... yeah, right. We attempted to paint the front door, today, but something did not go correctly and the paint is not adhering properly. So, we will fall back and try, again. At least we finished the painting of the second floor in the garage. We just have to wait for 72 hours before the floor can be used. |
