Brian installed half the floor tile for
the under-the-stairs storage room.

The kitchen countertops are being
installed. It does not go smoothly (and they work late into the
night) but the end result is very nice. |

The kitchen countertops were supposed to
be installed today, but they were delayed in fabrication. We are
rescheduled for tomorrow.
So, we are back to painting. We
finally picked a color for the front bathroom. It is a lovely shade
of brown called dirty diaper. First coat is complete.

Note 05/05/04: This is the door we were ordering from Spain, but the
U.S. importer has changed and we are not sure of the new company. We
are trying to decide about getting these doors for the kitchen and the
multi-purpose room. |

We are having measurements taken for the interior doors. We are
special ordering two of the doors from Spain (ETA 4 months).
Brian is working on the jacks for telephone, computer network, and
cable. Daniel is working on exterior grading.
The templates have been made for the Corian countertops for the kitchen
and the Corian shower stall in the master bathroom. |

floor deck. He is adding cross supports that will carry the deck
boards.

Brian is working on various little projects today.
We have ordered most of the interior doors, and
scheduled for the creation of the templates for the kitchen countertops
and master shower stall.

Brian is working with the cabinet
installed to finish the stove island.
The cabinets are as finished as possible
until the one replacement overhead cabinet arrives.
